Full of theater!

In January, Santiago receive an important guest from all parts of world in the context of Santiago a mil fest, that involved lots of different presentations of the most important theater’s companies. I love this moment of the year because is the only way that common people can enjoy of plays for free and also can go with their families to share together . This year the fest didn`t coincided with my vacations but I try to create time to see the most of plays that I can.
Some of the plays that I’ve gone to see was “La Victoria de Victor” that was about Victor Jara’s life. The most creative of this play was that you could walk for the street while the play was advancing, and the actors sang as they went along. The soundtrack of the play was in live and the musicians were in a truck with all the instruments and portrayed with clothes related to the play. Another performance that I saw was “Su excelencia Ricardo III”, this play is from Brazil and the actors were great. It’s a clown company and the characters were dancing, playing instruments, singing and, of course, acting. This performance is inspired in a Shakespeare`s book but interpreted like a clown.
Finally, I think this are the things that the government should do but I appreciated a lot the initiative of a group of natural persons that want to bring the culture closer people that usually can’t go to the  theater.
